Sculpture - Dress #2

An old outdated Carnegie Mellon alumni directory from 1976 was used to create a wrinkled and flowery dress. It also lights up beneath the shirt!

Sculpture - Dress #1

This dress is made from decks of cards found in my mom’s apartment! I experimented with how to manipulate the cards to form shapes. Poker chips add to the belt and found dice added to the necklace.

Sculpture - Dress #4

This dress is made from an unusual packaging material. Found in the local hardware store, each triangular unit was attached to the skirt and other units were cut and reshaped for the bodice. Using wire and cardboard triangles a funky necklace was created. A little bling in the form of rhinestones has been added to add to the glitter factor!
