VAPA: IB: World Dance Studies

The American Ballet Theatre has created this Online Ballet Dictionary of 170 terms with assistance from its own dancers who were asked to "show us how it is supposed to be done."

A list compiled by Alkis Raftis. The International Dance Council CID, being the official organization for dance, presents a list of dances recognized by UNESCO as part of the Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Dances are part of many customs or rituals included either in the Representative List or the Urgent Safeguarding List.
